I really loved painting this piece, her ivory skin and pale clothing made it a wonderful blend to the deep shadows and things inside the barn behind her. She has a great 1920s, almost art deco feel to her.

My comment is lost by the numbers here....so had to re-visit...it's one of your best...top 10 !...it always makes me think of Edward Hopper...don't know why...well what I like especially are environmental portraits...that tells something more :-))
