This was mid point in the painting at the time when I took this photo..I later on painted out the angels...I find it interesting that sometimes while creating a painting, mid point can be just as lovely as the completion..The completed piece is called "The Return"...
At this point in the painting, they are fading, being "caught up" "harvest" rapture"....So this is actually the last step in the painting as far as viewing, even though this was not the completed piece..
